I have just been to my friend`s house and I have been admiring her garden art. I had never really thought about decorating my garden in such a way and it looked really good. It helps that she has an enormous garden and so she had the space to put some really big statement pieces and they look fantastic. Of course we are not all lucky enough to be able to have such a grand garden. However it made me think that I could consider trying to copy it myself by having some pieces in a much smaller scale. At the moment I just have a couple of lawn ornaments and they do not really work where they are. I think I need to think harder about where to place them so that they fit in with the garden design better and also to plan the planting so that they all look good together. Then I might be able to incorporate a few new pieces to make a feature of in the garden. I am really looking forward to the challenge and I am sure that I can come up with something which will look really good and will improve our outdoor environment.
